![]() On some acoustic guitars, the serial number is on the inside of the sound hole. Does anyone know how to tell, I have been googling Fernandes serial numbers and have struck out. Serial numbers tend to be stamped or written somewhere on the headstock or neck joint of the guitar. I just ordered a Fernandes Atlas from musicgoround but they said they couldnt tell if it was one fo the made in Japan ones or not. This number can be used to date a guitar and in some cases tell where it was made. Most guitar manufacturers put a serial number on each instrument they produce. It's a used one, the owner says it's a late '70 one, but it looks too new, somehow I. Printed on the sticker is FERNANDES in upper case, followed by the serial number (all numbers, no letters, dashes or spaces) and a black strip on the bottom of the sticker with 'Made in Japan' printed in a white font. The serial number is FG05041224 It's quite light for a LP, does Burny make chambered or weight relieved ones? I can't read japanese, so I can't search the info in their site. On the back of the headstock is a white sticker. Well, most of player said Late 70's - early 80's Fender originals are not. These JV guitars became Neo-Vintage guitar with much proper price compare with original Fenders. Well, these guitars were very good even against original Fender Guitars. I'm guessing that the most of Fernandes guitars sales were by their Stratocasters in 70's and 80's. ![]()
